From one outlet in 2017 to seven islandwide.

Back in 2017, Nils was a single apparel store in Liberty Plaza. We helped them go online — and have been their technology partner through the years that took them to 7 outlets islandwide, including this year's move to Shopify.

§01 / Client since 2017

Niogin took Nils online in 2017 on an ecommerce platform, when it was a single apparel outlet in Liberty Plaza, and migrated it to Shopify in 2026 — both with full backend, POS, and inventory integration. Niogin has been the brand's technology partner throughout its growth to 7 outlets across Sri Lanka.

§02 / The challenge

Where it started.

In 2017, Nils wanted to move from a single brick-and-mortar outlet to selling online, without disrupting the store that was already trading.

Years later, with the business grown across multiple outlets, the original ecommerce platform needed to give way to Shopify — without losing the deep backend integration the operation now depended on.

§03 / What we built

The system, end to end.

Online in 2017

We first took Nils online on an ecommerce platform, fully integrated with their backend, POS, and inventory systems — so the new channel was in sync with the shop from day one.

Shopify migration in 2026

As the business grew, we replatformed Nils to Shopify — migrating the store and re-establishing full backend, POS, and inventory integration with minimal disruption to trading.

Full integration, both times

In both builds the storefront stayed wired to the systems running the business, so stock and orders are consistent across online and every outlet.

A partnership that scaled with them

From one outlet to seven, we kept the platform growing with the brand — exclusive ongoing support, not a build that ended at launch.
